The Silver Banshee arrives at Clark’s apartment looking for Superman, forcing Clark to postpone his double identity revelation to Lois. He is soon wrapped up in dealings with Blaze, who has armed the Banshee with magical weapons capable of destroying him.

Superman has managed to escape the Phantom Zone, but the situation he faces on Earth is even more dangerous. General Zod has lead a group of Kryptonian criminals in a bid to conquer the Earth in an attempt to re-establish Krypton. His super-powered forces have already captured every hero who has opposed them forcing Kal-El to ally himself with his most deadly enemy… Lex Luthor. Reassembling the Superman Revenge Squad, and equipping themselves with anti-Kryptonian weapons of Luthor’s design, they prepare to re-take Metropolis. But Lex has hidden a hitch or two in the plan that might leave the Earth without any Kryptonians at all… if Luthor has his way.
